Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Study4Exam platform (the "Service"), operated by Pedagogue House ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

Study4Exam is a secure, browser-based digital reading platform that provides licensed access to educational study materials — including JAMB, JUPEB, Post-UTME, and SSCE preparation books — published by Pedagogue House. All content is delivered exclusively through our secure web reader. No downloadable files are provided. Access is granted on a per-book, per-user licence basis following successful payment.

To purchase or access content, you must create an account using a valid email address and a password of at least 8 characters. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account or credentials with any other person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be shared or used fraudulently. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep that information up to date. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.

All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely through Paystack (for NGN transactions) or Stripe (for USD/international transactions). We do not store your card details. Upon successful payment, a licence granting you personal, non-transferable access to the purchased book is activated immediately. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address. Refund Policy: All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds once access to a book has been granted, except where required by applicable Nigerian consumer protection law, or where the content is materially defective or inaccessible due to a fault on our part. Refund requests on those grounds must be submitted to books@study4exam.ng within 7 days of purchase.

All content available on Study4Exam, including but not limited to text, images, book layouts, and compiled study materials, is the intellectual property of Pedagogue House or its licensors and is protected under Nigerian copyright law and applicable international treaties. Your licence grants you the right to read the purchased content through our platform for personal, non-commercial study purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, adapt, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content. Watermarking Notice: Every page rendered by our platform is dynamically watermarked with your registered email address, the date of purchase, and the page number. This watermark is applied server-side and is embedded in each page image. Attempted removal or circumvention of watermarks constitutes a violation of these Terms and may constitute an infringement of copyright.

You agree not to: • Share, resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to any content on the platform. • Attempt to download, screen-record, scrape, or otherwise extract content from the platform in any form. • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, access controls, or digital rights management mechanisms. • Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scripts) to access or interact with the platform. • Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or any material that disrupts or interferes with the Service. • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity. • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Nigerian or international law. Violation of these provisions may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, legal action.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pedagogue House disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content for your specific study or examination needs. Results in examinations depend on many factors beyond the content of our materials; we make no guarantees regarding examination outcomes.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at books@study4exam.ng. Upon termination, your right to access purchased content ceases. We are not obligated to refund any amounts paid prior to termination resulting from a breach of these Terms. Sections 5, 6, 7, and 9 survive termination of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lagos State, Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
